>> Thursday March 10th, come see and support the Women Trailblazers event at the Galleria Mall. In honor of Women’s History Month, History Fort Lauderdale and The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale will present “Women Trailblazers: Champions of Change - Broward County,” a photography exhibition, March 10 -31 that will showcase six current women trailblazers: Sebrina Alfonso, Alexandra Anagnostis-Irons, Kathleen Cannon, Melanie Dickinson, Bertha Henry, and Carolyn Michaels who are proponents of change. Each modern woman will be paired with an historical female predecessor who helped to pave the way for our community as it is, today. Proceeds from this exhibit opening will benefit History Fort Lauderdale.($$)

>> Saturday, all the fun will be on display at The Annual St. Paddy's Day Parade. The parade starts at Noon, but the Festival begins at 7:15am that morning with registration for the 4-miler fun run, followed by a kids "leprechaun dash." Events continue at Huizenga Park throughout the day. (Free)
>> If you want a quieter Saturday, consider scooting over to Snyder Park for Wild Talks In The Park, from 11am-Noon. Meet the animal ambassadors at this free event and learn how you can help their species. (Free)
>> Also on Saturday at 6pm, the First Presbyterian Church is hosting a family-friendly night of music and fun at the corner of Las Olas and Tarpon Drive. There will be food trucks, face painter, balloon artist, and other family friendly entertainment! We suggest people bring a can of tuna, a can of soup or a box of dried pasta to donate to the Souper Bowl of Caring food drive! Don't forget a chair! (Free)
