Flotsam & Jetsam

Each we come across tidbits, tips, and tools that are too good to not share, but they don't exactly fit in the "Fort Lauderdale" category. So inspired by the FTL's close connection to the sea... let's see if any of this floats your boat.

Meditatively cool, and just up the beach from Fort Lauderdale

Did you know that the Deerfield Beach Pier has an underwater camera? It is really cool to watch. Every time I have clicked there have been schools of fish swimming by. With the underwater sounds it is easy to lose track of time in this below water world.

If you visit Deerfield Beach, I understand there is also a street-side screen displaying the cams, to the delight of visitors. The associated Facebook page also shows a highlight reel of the undersea creatures (turtles, etc) that have made an appearance this month.
