>> This weekend (Saturday and Sunday) the jets will be flying overhead with the Fort Lauderdale Air Show. Learn all about the best places to watch, buy tickets, learn more about the performers on the Air Show wesbite. (Free and Paid)


>> TODAY (Wednesday the 27th from 6pm to 7:30pm) Plunge Into The Arts with an Artists Open House at the Plunge Beach Resort, in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. On display will be a special joint exhibit featuring the work of Charity Ramsey Irizarry and Julio Izquierdo. (Free)


>> Also on Wednesday, come to Funky Buddha Brewery for the Broward College hosted "Dinner At The Square." The topic for this dinner + discussion will be "Competition is good for customers, but would it benefit schools?" (a conversation about school choice and scholarships). (Paid)


>> Or you can go (Wednesday night) to The Parker to catch The South Florida Symphony Orchestra, playing Beethoven & Copland. This will be the season finale concert, featuring Beethoven's monumental "Eroica" Symphony and Copland's Clarinet Concerto, featuring David Shifrin, clarinet. (Paid)


>> Friday Night Sound Waves at Las Olas Oceanside Beach. This time it's The Goodnicks, a guitar driven pop / rock band guaranteed to get your feet moving, heart pumping, and have you singing along with songs you know and love from the 80’s to today as well as some original tunes. (Free)


>> On Saturday, come out for the Best Buddies Friendship Walk at Nova Southeastern University in Davie. The goal is to raise over $110,00 and they are nearly at their goal. The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the leading walk in the country supporting inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (also known as IDD). (Sponsored)


>> Or if you are feeling colorful, come out to Huizenga Park on Saturday morning for Fort Lauderdale's Color Run. The Color Run is a five-kilometer, untimed event. At each kilometer mark, Color Runners are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder. Participants wear white at the starting line and finish the race plastered in color. Once the race is over, the fun continues at the Finish Festival, a larger-than-life party equipped with music, dancing, photo ops, activity booths, vendors, and more massive color throws, which create millions of vivid color combinations. >> Saturday morning is also Healthy Kids Day, sponsored by the YMCA. Join for a day of healthy, fun activities that celebrate kids being kids. (Free)


>> Saturday morning The Broward Center is hosting a sensory-inclusive performance of The Cat In The Hat. This performance is intended to create a welcoming and supportive environment for children and adults on the autism spectrum as well as individuals with other sensitivity issues or developmental disabilities. >> Do you have a little one (or a bigger "adult" kid) who loves Fire Engines? Saturday from 10am to 2pm is the Grand Reopening at the Fort Lauderdale Fire Museum. (Paid)


>> Saturday afternoon is the Indie Craft Bazaar at Revolution. This art and handmade goods festival is a one day only, independent art and handmade festival. "It's like stepping into an in real life Etsy!" Featuring over 75 artists, crafters, designers, and makers, plus: DIY activities, food, drink specials, and giveaways! (Free)


>> And it's time again for the ArtWalks - Mass ArtWalk and FATVillage's ArtWalk on Saturday evening. Come out and enjoy the music, the creations AND food options. Our own Chantal will be doing a live demonstration of her work at the FATVillage event. (Free)


>> This Coming Wednesday, make sure all the moms-to-be in your life are signed up for the Mother Of All Baby Showers at MODS. Adults-only event is filled with food & drinks, mini spa treatments, local products and services, hands-on educational sessions on the ABC's of pregnancy and parenting, and over $20K in giveaways! (Paid)


>> This Weekend starts a full week of Beauty & The Beast performances by the Florida Children's Theatre. Starting on April 29th until May 8th. (Paid)

America's Top Team Fort Lauderdale is gearing up for Summer Camps.


American Top Team Fort Lauderdale Summer camp has been going on for more than 14 years . Day campers will spend their time learning and practicing jiu-jitsu and self-defense with Master Junior Fernandes (ATT FTL leader and coach) and staff members.


Master Junior Fernandes and his team will help your child learn more about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu technique, the fun way! This camp is great not only for beginners but also for current students to learn fundamental techniques and improve competition skills.


Our summer camp is for 4 -12 year olds and will include a variety of ground based jiu-jitsu techniques as well as take-down techniques including wrestling and judo, and modern style grappling. The camp is from 8am to 2pm and includes healthy snacks.


Give your child the opportunity to improve their techniques this summer and get ready for competitions.
