>> TONIGHT starts the kickoff of Ignite, Broward County’s new family-friendly immersive art experience featuring exciting interactive video and light installations created by leading contemporary artists and designers. Festivities start at 6pm at Esplanade Park. Ignite runs from January 26-30th. (Free)
>> If the rain drives you inside, you could also visit The Bonnet House TONIGHT from 2pm-4pm for a VIP Upstairs and Downstairs Tour. Having celebrated its 100-year anniversary in 2020, the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens is a fanciful blend of art, architecture, history, and ecology, providing a charming destination for vacationers or daytrip for visitors of all ages. >> Also TONIGHT, Join Historic Stranahan House Museum Education and Curatorial Coordinator Jonathan Axler, as he discusses Fort Lauderdale's role in the Seminole Wars. This program will not only discuss the lives of both the soldiers and the Seminoles during that conflict, but also talk about the men and women who left their mark on the City of Fort Lauderdale. >> Saturday from 6pm to 10pm, it's time for the MASS District Art Walk. Enjoy live music from local musicians, shop original works of art, unique garbs, and many other handmade crafts at the #VillageShops market. (Free)
>> Or you can mosey on over to FATVillage for their Artwalk and ArtWalk ArtAttack. Same day, same times (6pm to 10pm). Visit the open galleries, the new art exhibits, and local artists and artisans selling goods in the vendor markets. With a variety of food and entertainment, it's fun for the whole family.
